The fully equipped kitchenette was perfect for preparing our own meals, and the electric kettle was a convenient addition. We loved the living room with a flat-screen TV, where we could relax and unwind after a long day of activities.

That the chalet did not have a microwave, which would have been useful for quick heating and reheating of food. However, it's just my personal preference, and others may not have an issue with it.

The host and his family were so caring and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The highlight of my stay was encountering a lawn-cutting robot upon arrival and being greeted by friendly chickens when I left. It was truly a delightful and different experience. I only wish I could have stayed longer to explore the medieval treasures in the nearby village. I highly recommend Chalet De Fred in Saint-Ouen-de-Mimbre for a memorable and affordable getaway.
